Everything works except the call recordings, they do not record even though it is turned on to all calls. I even resetted the phone and reinstalled the software and still nothing.

In order to be able to use new mSpy features (such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Viber) on your Android device you need to root it first. Rooting is the process by which you regain full administrative control (known as root access) within Android’s subsystem.
Can you root the phone without losing all the apps, pictures, etc that were on the phone. . .i.e. will they notice that the phone is different because of the root?
